"Following the successful opening of the two skateparks last Saturday, I feel that I must formally write to you and congratulate you and your team for the culmination of several months joint working with the Authority and the realisation of two prestigious skateparks. The skateparks not only meet the requirements of our community plan but will serve to represent all that is productive in private partnerships. Authorities can enter partnerships that fail to realise initial expectations, in this case the initial expectations have been surpassed and the community have two state of the art facilities, that will be used not only for local, but national competition. Please be aware, that if you wish for any future "customers" to view the facilities, please do not hesitate to contact ourselves, we will be glad to assist. Your experience in the highly complex field of "skatepark" provision has been invaluable, as has the "design and build" methodology. "
" GBH Engineering has been an absolute star, helping the Funseeker youngsters with loads of advice on design aspects and a video to promote the park. They've also liaised with the council on our behalf, which has been invaluable, and has helped speed things up considerably."
" Words cannot describe the debt of gratitude we owe you for the way you responded. There is no doubt that without your help and generosity, the day would not have been the success it truly was. The ramps were fantastic; we had many comments from the users who said they were very rigid, rode well and were "cool" to use."
" Many thanks with all the time and effort you have given with building an oppurtunity to have a skateboard park within Shaftesbury. Thanks again for all your support and very helpful advice"
" I would personally like to thank you for your involvement in the event. I hope you enjoyed being part of such a large sporting occasion, entertaining the young sports stars and spectators at Exeter Arena and various sites across the city. Thank you once again for helping to make the games a success and an enjoyble day for all."
" Professional and knowledgeable. Clearly understood the needs of the users. The users have been pleased with the product and consider it to be value for money."
" Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council looked for the following criteria when it came to selecting a company to design and install two quality skate parks costing over £200,000. * A dynamic approach to engaging and liasing with young people that would meet their high expectations. * Equipment that was safe by design and maintenance free. * A company that would complete a project within budget and agreed timescales. " We felt that the amount of equipment we were receiving from GBH for the money, was far in excess of that offerred by other companies. The product quality has been very good and is much appreciated by the youngsters who are riding on it. I would have no hesitation in recommending your company to interested parties." " I found GBH provided a friendly professional approach from a company that obviously understands its market. GBH supplied the most economical tender price without compromising the quality of the product they have supplied. Overal I am very happy the finished product and the service which has been provided. I have no reservations in providing your company with this reference and I wish you every success with your developing business." " Knowledgeable on the subject and quick to respond. Use of e-mail, documents and graphics proved most efficient and useful." GBH have excelled in all the above criteria, resulting in Nuneaton and Bedworth having two of the best skate parks in the country."
" The overall approach by GBH has always been good. Staff were particularly helpful and co-operative during the design, planning and construction of our skatepark. Our Skatepark was an early version, installed in February / March 1998 and the company has maintained the equipment in good order since that time. During this period it has also made considerable advances in the design and construction of the ramps which it now supplies."
